The Role: Meadow Brook School seeks applicants for the position of ELL Teacher. Massachusetts English as a Second Language (PreK-6) licensure is required. Qualified candidates must:

• Establish and maintain a safe, nurturing and engaging learning environment with standards of student behavior that promote positive social and academic experiences

• Plan and deliver dynamic and creative lessons that reflect the diverse educational, cultural and linguistic backgrounds of students and that are aligned with the Massachusetts Curriculum Frameworks, the principles of Universal Design for Learning and District approved high-quality instructional materials

• Administer a wide variety of assessments and utilize data to inform instruction, including appropriate classroom interventions and enhancements

• Collaborate with a wide range of colleagues at the school and district level

• Coordinate and administer all aspects of ACCESS testing

• Administer the WIDA Screener for Kindergarten to incoming students

• Support classroom teachers with inclusionary practices

• Establish and maintain open lines of communication with parents/guardians/caregivers

• Be passionate about teaching and learning and love working with children

• Other duties as assigned by the Principal
