Summary of Work
The position is the front desk person for the office. Duties include answering phone, greeting clients, handing out paperwork, reviewing paperwork for accuracy, scanning paperwork, creating folders on the server and moving PDF's around on the server. This position is the primary EBT person for the Office and has responsible for issuing, maintain issuance logs, reconciling the EBT card supply. Other duties as assigned.
Require a high school diploma or GED, PLUS one of the following:
Three years of work experience in the clerical, accounting, financial, legal or teaching fields;
Three years of a bachelor's degree program (90 semester hours or 135 quarter hours);
Three years combined education and experience as listed above; or
Completion of the Eligibility Worker Certificate Program offered at Bismarck State College.
Ability to work on and with a computer is an absolute must. Applicants will be required to take a typing test as part of the interview process. The applicant selected for this position will be required to pass a fingerprint background check.

The Department's Human Resource Division staff will score applications against the minimum qualifications and preferences listed on the job announcement and qualifying military service. After the scoring is completed, a certified list of eligible candidates and the applications will be forwarded to the hiring manager for further consideration and possible interview, based on the final scores.
