Description:

Enthusiastic Elementary Special Education Teacher to foster and facilitate the intellectual and social development of children.

Responsibilities:

Follow district approved curriculum and provide instruction for students.

Prepare lesson plans and establish course goals.

Provides individual and group instruction.

Use a variety of activities and instructional methods to motivate and stimulate children's abilities

Maintain an open line of communication with parents and provide appropriate information

Assess students performance and progress to ensure they are mastering the skills on a regular basis

Follow and comply with teaching standards and safety regulations

Hampton Township Board of Education - EOE/AA

Requirements:

NJ Certification Teacher of the Handicapped or Students with Disabilities

Required criminal history background checks.
