Description:

Enthusiastic elementary school teacher to foster and facilitate the intellectual and social development of children.

Responsibilities

• Follow district approved curriculum and provide instruction for students in elementary school.

• Prepare lesson plans and establish course goals.

• Provides individual and group instruction.

• Use a variety of activities and instructional methods to motivate and stimulate children's abilities

• Maintain an open line of communication with parents and provide appropriate information

• Assess students performance and progress to ensure they are mastering the skills on a regular basis

• Cooperate with administration staff

• Follow and comply with teaching standards and safety regulations

Requirements:

Candidate should possess:

Current or be eligible for NJDOE Elementary School Teacher certification

Special Education certified preferred
