Elementary Teacher K-5

Position Available: 10/21/2024 - 6/30/2025

Qualifications:

• NJ Elementary certificate or NJ Teacher K-6 certificate required

• NJ Teacher of Students with Disabilities certification or Teacher of the Handicapped certificate preferred

• Knowledge of the NJSLS for Elementary ELA and Mathematics

• High-level skills in the collection of data and anecdotal notes to provide evidence of student growth and guide differentiated and targeted instruction to meet the needs of all learners

• Knowledge of best practices in English/Language Arts and Mathematics Interventions

• Knowledge of Wilson Reading System, Project Read and/or Orton Gillingham

• Knowledge/evidence of implementation of best practices for supporting an inclusive environment and opportunities for students

• Experience in using small group instructional strategies

• Knowledge of Least Restrictive Environment regulations

• Knowledge of Google for Education

• Experience integrating technology to enhance instruction

Terms of Employment:

• Salary and benefits as per MTEA Collective Bargaining Agreement
