Elementary Social Emotional Learning Teacher

Duties

This teacher will be responsible for organizing and implementing the Social Emotional Learning Program through a Specials rotation for K-5 students. Curriculum will include the Second Step SEL program, Child Protection curriculum (Erin's Law), Bullying Prevention curriculum as well as foundational SEL competencies as aligned with Collaborative for Academic, Social, and Emotional Learning. This teacher will also meet with targeted groups of students for Tier 2 Interventions, as outlined through the MTSS Process at the building.

Qualifications

• K-5 Illinois Professional Educator's License

• Successful teaching experience desired, but not necessary

• Bilingual preferred, but not required.
