Each school has a collaborative and positive staff of teachers, instructional assistants, full time assistant principals at the elementary and middle schools, counselor, reading specialist and bilingual resource teacher.

Sheppard Accelerated Elementary School has been part of the National Accelerated Schools Project for 15 years.

Roseland Elementary has participated in Results, Core and Success for All. Both schools have adopted the Houghton Mifflin text series a substantial Reading First Federal Grant to enhance student performance in reading. Roseland Accelerated Middle School Charter, located on the Sheppard campus, is in the fourth year of successful operation with an enrollment of over 200 students and a consistent waiting list of students.

Day-to day operations run a smooth preschool through 8th grade campus. The charter high school, in partnership with Sonoma State University, is in its second year with 220 ninth, tenth, and eleventh grade students and will be expanding to 300 ninth through twelfth grades for 2007-08.
