Job Summary

The school is looking for an elementary school teacher to be responsible for providing educational instruction to students and creating a welcoming classroom environment in a private school setting. A few of the main duties of an elementary school teacher are creating and editing lesson plans, enforcing classroom and school rules, observe and evaluate student performance, grade homework and tests, and recess duty. They also must keep parents updated on their children. To be successful in this role, the school teacher should have excellent communication and interpersonal skills and a passion for teaching. The school teacher is responsible for creating a positive and engaging learning environment while integrating the approved curriculum. They provide instruction in a variety of subjects, math, science, social studies, English, and other relevant topics. The teacher is responsible for preparing lesson plans, developing educational activities, and assessing student progress, adjust instruction as needed. The school teacher must also establish positive relationships with parents, guardians, and other stakeholders, keeping them informed of student progress and addressing any concerns they may have. They may also be responsible for organizing and participating parent-teacher conferences and attend monthly teacher meetings with administration.
