Elementary School Teacher

Students at Action Day Elementary School have access to the latest in technology including Apple TV’s and iPads. All students are warmly accepted and guided along their educational path throughout our program. Bullying and "slipping through the cracks" simply do not happen at our school due to our small, family-like atmosphere. Students are held to high standards while enjoying school. 

Positions Available: Full-time 4th Grade Teacher

Start date: August 8, 2024

Compensation: $55,000-65,000/yr. depending on individual experience, education and position requirements.

As a 4th Grade Teacher, you will collaborate with teachers to create lesson plans and guide students through our exciting, core curriculum.  You will have the opportunity to monitor, document, and assess student progress, maintain close communication with the principal and parents regarding student issues, and conduct parent-teacher conferencing. Along with ensuring the highest quality of care, you will represent Action Day and participate in school events and staff training events.

Requirements

Our ideal candidate will come to us with:

• 3-5 years of teaching experience
• Bachelor’s degree
• Current Teaching Credential (preferred)
• Masters in Education or Related Field (preferred)
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• A love and passion for working with young children
• A reliable, can-do attitude with an eagerness to learn and grow!
