The Brookside Elementary School community actively involves all children in becoming passionate, innovative, and culturally enriched life-long learners. They provide a foundation for students to reach their full potential through a comprehensive, rigorous, standards- aligned curriculum that is enhanced by technology.
Meaningful learning opportunities empower children to be independent thinkers, problem solvers, and responsible citizens. The Elementary Principal shall have the ability to lead a qualified teaching staff in meeting the instructional needs of all students. Must possess knowledge of curriculum development, innovative teaching and learning practices, program evaluation, child development, special education, full inclusion, and GATE.
Work as a collaborative member of a school and district team that includes teachers, parents, classified staff, administrators and students. The Board of Education and Superintendent are looking for someone with the professional and personal characteristics to lead a highly trained, committed and progressive staff in continuing the school's outstanding tradition of academic excellence.
