Job Summary

We are seeking elementary and middle school teachers for full and part-time, in-person, teaching positions at Vista Christian School. Classroom teachers are responsible for creating inspiring, enriching lessons utilizing our curriculum and standards to help students on their journey of becoming critical thinkers and life-long learners.

Teachers are also responsible for instructing and assessing students, managing classroom behavior, supporting students socially and emotionally, collaborating with other members of our school team, communicating with parents, and helping with various school events and functions. This teaching position begins on August 19, 2024. Teachers receive standard school and national holidays. Salary is competitive and health benefits are included.

Current multiple-subject or single-subject credential required or be in the process of completing your teacher program having already finished student teaching, and at least 1 year of teaching or substitute experience preferred. Candidates must be CPR/First-Aid certified within 60 days of employment.
