Elementary Curriculum

Job Description: Elementary Teacher  (4th Grade)  

2024-2025 Salary Range: $36,568 - $76,793 current placement on salary schedule.  Benefits available.  4-day work week and a 164-day contract.

Following the best effective practices via scientific-based research methodology for pedagogy; the teacher presents lessons in line with the district's standards-based curriculum google drive.  The teacher is expected to expose students to a scope and sequence that builds skills from one grade level to the next as well as uphold the policies as adopted by District #45-45A.

DESIRED MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:

• Hold a valid Montana Class 1 or 2 Teaching License with Elementary Education Endorsement (minimum) or K-12 Enhancement (preferred), or be able to obtain.

• Ability to write reports and business correspondence.

• Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from students, parents, staff, and the community.

• Ability to handle stressful situations.

• Ability to maintain confidentiality of employment and student matters.

• Ability to effectively manage time and responsibilities.
