Elementary Curriculum

Rosebud School District 12 is seeking an early kindergarten teacher for the upcoming 2024/2025 school year.

The degree needed is an elementary education degree (K-8) or early childhood education.

Base pay on the salary schedule is $30,452. All years of experience to be allowed/accepted are at the discretion of and recommendation of the principal.

The school district covers insurance (medical, eye, dental, and $10,000 life) up to $1,000, with the option of getting the remainder as a stipend. For example, if the teacher takes on an $800 plan, they will receive a stipend of $200 a month. Other benefits include free lunch meals and extracurricular activity opportunities. A paraprofessional will also be available to help in the classroom where needed.

Rosebud is a small rural community located 13 miles east of Forsyth and 31 miles west of Miles City along I-90. The school serves grades from early kindergarten through seniors.

Our school population is 62 students, and class sizes are small. Rosebud also has up-to-date technology, including laptops, Kindles, desktops, Smart Boards, etc. There are currently 9 teachers, with 3 being fellow elementary teachers.
