Elementary Curriculum

Poplar Elementary School is seeking the following positions for 2024-2025:

Art edcuation teacher and technology education teacher.

Starting salary of  $48,000.  Poplar Schools offer a great benefits package along with a $6,100 health reimbursement card.  Poplar Schools also allows for up to 15 years of experience. Teacher housing is available.

Minimum requirements:  Montana teaching certificate or ability to gain a Montana teaching certificate.

Essential Functions:

• Creates a positive learning environment, which promotes appropriate behavior and successful learning.  Students need to be engaged, challenged, and safe.

• Promotes high expectations and demonstrate a caring attitude.

• Maintains order in the classroom and administers discipline when necessary to achieve proper behavior consistent with school policy.

• Supervises classroom aides and volunteers.

• Maintains a high level of confidentiality.

• Maintains a professional attitude when interacting with students, parents, colleagues, and supervisors.

• Establish and maintain collaborative and cooperative relationships with colleagues.
