Middle School Core ELA/SS and Science Teacher-1.0 FTE

 2024-25 Salary Range: $46,813-$68,815 or current placement on salary schedule.  Benefits available.

Description:

This postiing is for a 7th grade ELA/SS and Science position.  This position is responsible for teaching two blocks of ELA/Social Studies and one block of Science.

Understanding and effective instruction of the Montana State Standards in ELA/S.S. and Science is required.  The teacher will be a member of a 7th grade collabportive team as well as part of the school's ELA/SS and/or Science PLC.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate must have, or be willing to obtain, a current Montana teaching certificate in K-8 preferred of ELA, Social Studies and Science certified or secondary licenses in Social Studies, English and Science or any other required area prior to the beginning of the 2024-2025 school year.  Previous experience teaching middle school students is preferred.

Working Conditions:

The position includes teaching multiple blocks of ELA/S.S. and Science each day plus SEL on a weekly basis.  The teacher will work closely with colleagues on the team as well as in conjunction with the other ELA/S.S. teachers in the school.
