Description:

This postiing is for a 6th grade Science and Health Enhancement position.  This position is responsible for teaching three blocks of Science on "A" days, and three blocks of Health Enhancement on "B" days.

The successful candidate needs to have an understanding and effective instruction of the Montana State Standards in Science and Health Enhancement.  The successful candidate will be a member of a 6th grade interdisciplinary team as well as part of the school's Science and/or Health Enhancement PLC team.

Qualifications:

The successful candidate must have, or be willing to obtain, a current Montana teaching certificate in K-8 preferred or secondary license in Science and Health Enhancement or any other required area prior to the beginning of the 2024-2025 school year.

Previous experience teaching middle school students is preferred.

Working Conditions:

The position includes teaching multiple blocks of Science and Health Enhancement each day plus SEL on a weekly basis.  The teacher will work closely with colleagues on the team as well as in conjunction with the other Science and Health Enhancement teachers in the school.
