Elementary Curriculum

POSITION: Elementary Teacher for 2024-2025 School Year

SCHOOLS: Custer Public Schools

LEVEL: K-6

SALARY: The District honors experience up to 12 years.

Minimum: $36,752 base salary plus benefits. Benefits include Medical Insurance.

REQUIREMENTS

CERTIFICATION: Montana Educator Certificate with an endorsement in Elementary.

EDUCATION: Bachelor’s Degree or higher.

DUTIES: Duties will include teaching an elementary classroom. Duties will include teaching all subjects in elementary except music, computers, and P.E. .

SCHOOL INFORMATION: The District runs on a 4-day school week.

We just finished building a new athletic facility/gym in 2018. Custer is a small rural community that is located about 50 miles east of Billings along I94 on the way to Miles City. Custer is 30 miles north of Hardin.

Our current enrollment stands at about 100 students K-12. The staff works closely together with the parents and community to form a family friendly atmosphere. We strive to improve the learning environment for our students.
