Office Clerk/Noon Supervisor at Highview Elementary

Position Description/Qualifications:

• Processes all copy requests in a timely manner.

• Sorts and distributes mail to staff members.

• Assists with the supervision of students upon their arrival, during the day and at dismissal.

• Supervises students in the lunch room and/or playground (see noon supervisor job description).

• Operates copier and other office equipment. Arranges for service when needed.

• Maintain an accurate inventory of supplies for office, storeroom, media center and photo copy machines.

• Informs Office Manager when ordering is necessary to re-stock supplies.

• Greets students, staff and visitors and directs inquiries appropriately.

• Answers the telephone, accurately records phone messages and directs inquiries.

• Accurately updates phone numbers on the district's student information system.

• Operates the visitor management system, screens and appropriately directs all visitors.

Schedule: 22.5 hours weekly

• Elementary Office Clerk = 2.5 hours per day x 5 days per week (12.5 hours weekly) for 172 days total

• Noon Supervisor = 2 hours per day x 5 days per week (10 hours weekly) for 172 days total

• Start and End times to be determined

• This position begins on September 3, 2024.

Pay Rate and Classification:

• A-1-1: $15.62 - $18.90 per hour depending on experience (rate subject to change with the completion of the 2023-2025 LEAF contract)
