Job Summary
The Elementary Assistant Principal is responsible for providing instructional leadership to ensure all students are provided a challenging core curriculum and meet state and district standards and expectations. The Elementary Assistant Principal will assist in planning, directing, and supervising the activities of an elementary school, including specific assignments such as: supervision of students, student discipline, supervision of staff, coaching on best practices, local and state testing, and parent engagement. The Elementary Assistant Principal also assists in the design, implementation, monitoring, and evaluation of supplemental programs and services focused on increasing academic achievement and closing achievement gaps.
