The Boeing Company is seeking an Electrophysics Engineer/Scientist to be located in Mesa, Arizona.
Support the areas of Electromagnetic analysis, design, and test for a wide variety of applications to include Antennas, Radomes, Radio Frequency (RF) materials, and Low Observables.
Work in a collaborative environment, which requires interaction with Boeing sites around the country.
Assist in development and validation of requirements for various communication, sensor, and other electromagnetic systems and components, including electrical\electronic systems, mechanical systems, interconnects and structures.
Development of architectures to integrate systems and components into higher level systems and platforms, performs
technology trade studies, modeling, simulation and other forms of analysis to predict and optimize
component, interconnects and system performance.
Definition of and participation in testing to verify performance of designs to requirements, participation in supplier
management activities to ensure compliance to requirements, and providing support to products throughout their lifecycle including defect or anomaly analysis and resolution, and other engineering support as requested.

Basic qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):

Experience with military or commercial aircraft and avionics
Experience with design and analysis of Antennas, Radomes, RF Materials, or Low Observables
Experience with RF test equipment (Network Analyzers, instrumentation radars etc) or free space RF measurements or
Antenna or Radar Cross Section (RCS) test facilities
Experience with error analysis and calculating and summarizing error data for RF measurements
Experience with design for manufacturing and statistical process control
Typical Education and Experience:
Bachelor's and 5 or more years' experience, Master's degree with 3 or more years' experience or PhD degree with experience. Bachelor, Master or Doctorate of Science degree from an accredited course of study, in engineering, computer science, mathematics, physics or chemistry. ABET is the preferred, although not required, accreditation standard.
