Electronics Technician Maintenance III Tinker Air Force Base, OK
In this Career Opportunity you will apply advanced technical knowledge to solve complex problems. You will use your strong working knowledge and understanding of electric principals, the interrelationships of circuits. You will use this knowledge to exercise independent judgment in performing such tasks as making circuit analyses, calculating wave forms, and tracing relationships in signal flow, using complex test instruments such as high frequency pulse generators, frequency synthesizers, distortion analyzers, and complex computer control equipment.
You will be responsible for supervising testing, troubleshooting and repair of electronic equipment. In addition, the Electronics Technician will provide subject matter expertise in planning, design, and integration of electronic security systems, coordinate his/her efforts with contractors, and communicate orally and in writing to ensure coordination.
Determine locations and density of circuitry, evaluating electromagnetic radiation, isolating malfunctions, and incorporating engineering changes
Inspect, troubleshoot, repair, modify and analyze performance of fixed and transportable transmitters, receivers, transceivers, and related equipment
Understand and analyze design documentation and system data to plan and execute installation and maintenance activities
Identify installation and maintenance activities and determine execution durations
Complete high-quality device and component installation activities and maintenance activities
Set up, operate, and maintain audiovisual equipment, LCD portable projection equipment, portable and fixed public-address amplifiers, speakers, and wireless microphones
Install, configure, operate, and maintain Closed Circuit Television (CCTV) and associated equipment
Provide scheduled and unscheduled maintenance
Advanced technical knowledge of the interrelationships of circuits, exercising independent judgment in performing such tasks as making circuit analyses, calculating wave forms, and tracing relationships in signal flow, using complex test instruments such as high frequency pulse generators, frequency synthesizers, distortion analyzers, and complex computer control equipment
Participate in configuration of servers, workstations, panels and other programmable components
Execute testing to verify high quality installations
Minimum 5 years experience in Air Force Specialty Code 2E173 or an Associate s degree in Applied Science (AAS) in Electronics Technology and 10 years of equivalent civilian practical experience
Active Security Clearance is required

Hourly Income - $27.89 per hour. Solid Benefits available (Medical, Dental and Vision), 401k Match of the first 3% dollar for dollar and then 50% of the next 2%.. If you put in 5%, you will get a 4% match.
