Job Title: Electronics Technician, Associate SK1.1
Job Description:
Job Summary
As an Electronics Technician SK1.1, you will:
Learn/assist with installation, testing, troubleshooting and repair of the telecommunication and other electronic systems and equipment.
This includes video/TV cable equipment, televisions, two-way radios/pagers, public addresses, security, card readers and various other electronic and control systems.
Also could include fiber-optic cable, data cable, telephone cable and the associated equipment.
Assist with record keeping and determine the best method of installation of equipment and cable.
Relocate existing data and telephone services.
Help perform data and voice pics, manhole maintenance, and closet maintenance.
Education and Experience:
Skills Needed:
Must be able to train, learn and perform towards the goal of becoming a level VII electronics technician.
Mechanical aptitude and demonstrated knowledge of hand and power tools/equipment usage necessary.
Must be able to climb ladders, scaffolds and work from heights up to 100 feet.
Must be able to lift and carry 50 to 80 lbs. frequently, and up to 100 lbs. or more occasionally.
Valid driver's license required.
