We are developing the future of Army Aviation with the Bell Future Long-Range Assault Aircraft (FLRAA) part of the US Army's Future Vertical Lift (FVL) modernization effort. We are also developing the Bell 525 Relentless and Bell's High-Speed Vertical Take-Off and Landing (HSVTOL) aircraft.

This position is onsite in Fort Worth.

Avionics & Electrical

Develop Electronic Modules utilized in the control and monitoring of various systems on-board the aircraft. Tasks include circuit design, PC board layout, software design, verification and integration on Bell Helicopter products.

What you'll be doing as a Electronics Engineer

  • Assist with the development, design, testing and certification documentation for new or modified printed circuit board modules for aircraft
  • Apply electrical engineering theory and the operation of electronic test equipment to functionally test and troubleshoot avionics/electrical modules or systems
  • Assist with validation of electronic circuit design concepts using SPICE software
  • Design printed circuit board layouts using Altium design software
  • Utilize VHDL to modify and maintain Programmable Logic Devices
  • Assist with preparation of engineering certification reports to document system designs that meet the requirements of certification authorities
  • Assist with preparation of functional test documents to verify proper operation of electronic assemblies

Skills You Bring To this Role

  • Software programing experience with C program language
  • Experience with Field Programmable Gate Array (FPGA) integrated circuits
  • Experience with Complex Programmable Logic Device (CPLD)
  • Programing experience with VHDL and Verilog
  • Familiarity with the application of aerospace standards (DO-254, DO-160, MIL-STD-810, MIL-STD-454) or similar industry standards.

What you need to be successful

  • At least 5 years of experience in Electronics Engineering or related field
  • Bachelor's degree with a Major in Electrical Engineering.
  • Advanced degrees will be considered as additional experience.
  • Related degrees with relevant experience will be considered.
  • We are looking for inquisitive and driven engineers with a passion to innovate.
