SPA's Sea Land Air (SLA) Division supports a diverse portfolio of national security government clients, including the Undersea Enterprise, the Navy Surface Community, the Navy MPTE Enterprise, the Army, DoD Agencies, DARPA, OSD, international clients including the Canadian Navy and Australian Defense Force. Our primary objective is to provide timely, objective and analytic assessments that integrate the policy, operational, technical, programmatic and acquisition aspects of our clients' challenges.

Leveraging both in-domain and cross-domain expertise to maximize our clients' success, SLA Division acts as trusted agents to senior decision-makers and key leaders and excels at providing data driven analytic insights, systems engineering, strategies and plans that address current and emerging challenges to national security.

The Integrated Warfare Systems Group's (IWSG) focus is to provide engineering, technical and programmatic support to the Program Executive Office for Integrated Warfare Systems, Above Water Sensors (PEO IWS 2.0) Directorate, Office of Naval Research, Naval Surface Warfare Center Dahlgren, and Program Executive Office, Submarines (PEO SUB). Efforts include overarching program and project management, test and evaluation, systems and digital engineering, systems integration, international, foreign military sales, product support, cyber security, IT network, and strategic communications support for over 40 PEO IWS 2.0 radar, electronic warfare, electro-optic/infrared, decoy and directed energy programs and projects.

IWSG staff support a variety of tasks including: support and completion of major technical reviews; producing required acquisition documentation; meeting critical program milestone deadlines; managing program needs and external requirements, and ensuring the right resources are provided to the right priorities at the right time.

SPA's IWS Group office is located at 20 M Street in Southeast DC, conveniently down the street from our clients at the Washington Navy Yard.

Responsibilities

We are seeking an Electronic Warfare Systems Analyst to support to the Surface Electronic Warfare Improvement Program (SEWIP) Block II Program within PEO IWS 2.0 Above Water Sensors Directorate. The candidate will serve as a technical expert of the SEWIP Block II Program and direct support to the SEWIP Block II Assistant Program Manager (APM) providing guidance in the development of system operators and training to equipment maintainers.

Please note that the salary information shown below is a general guideline only. Salaries are commensurate with experience and qualifications, as well as market and business considerations. Washington, DC Pay Transparency Range: $115,000 - $135,000.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

  • At least eight years' experience or equivalent in SLQ-32 operation and/or maintenence.

  • Active DoD Secret Clearance

Desired Qualifications:

  • Experience supporting Navy Program Office

  • Experience DoD engineering and acquisition processes
