Job Description JOB DESCRIPTION: The Electronic Warfare Specialist (EWS) is a Subject Matter Expert working in a small, close-knit crew environment providing exciting, yet unconventional technical expertise in support of Air Force mission requirements.

The EWS leverages their aviation and EW experience and critical-thinking prowess to develop tactics and techniques to counter emerging threats associated with the mission. The EWS will also work and coordinate with DoD entities and agencies to facilitate cutting-edge product development to ensure client capabilities meet current and future objectives. The EWS possesses an in-depth understanding of the key factors in aircraft survivability and combat mission planning to ensure client objectives are met.

TOP SECRET / SCI clearance is required. The work schedule may be dynamic in nature. No overseas deployment is required.

REQUIRED EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE: This highly-desired position offers a qualified candidate the unique opportunity to make good use of years of military Electronic Warfare training and Aviation experience.

Bachelor's degree (or equivalent experience) and minimum of 8 years' aviation experience in Electronic Warfare. Graduate of military technical training courses such as Electronic Warfare Officer, Navy Aviation Electronic Warfare School, or Air Battle Manager, or Navy Airborne Early Warning School.

  • Recent Operational experience.
  • TS/SCI required.

DESIRED SKILLS: Minimum of 6 years as an Air Force EWO/WSO (RC-135, EC-130 Compass Call), Air Force Air Battle Manager (AWACS, E-2C/D), Navy ECMO/WSO (EA-6B Prowler, EA-18G Growler), or EP-3E EW Operator.

Deployed operational experience as an airborne Electronic Warfare SME is highly desired. BS or BSE desired.

The DoD Electronic Health Records (EHR) Portfolio Manager (PM) is directly accountable to the MITRE EHR Portfolio Director for establishing and maintaining trusted relationships with senior sponsors involved in delivery of DoD EHR solutions. The DoD EHR PM will partner with the VA EHR PM and other MITRE PMs whose sponsors and work programs intersect with or have dependencies with the DoD EHR Modernization program such the Defense Health Agency and Department of Health and Human Services/Office of the National Coordinator. The DoD EHR PM may also engage in work related to other federal EHR modernization efforts, such as the Department of Homeland Security/Coast Guard. This role directly supports MITRE's cross-government mission to deliver improved quality sharing of electronic medical records to enable efficient and effective clinical care The PM will be responsible for developing a thorough understanding of the sponsor's organization, environment, mission, and capabilities in coordination with the VA EHR PM. Based on this understanding the PM will develop a business strategy that aligns with sponsor priorities, is consistent and supports the DoD EHR PM business strategy, and contributes to an integrated portfolio sponsor engagement strategy with the leadership team. The PM will also partner closely with the CVET Program Division, Technical Centers, and Department Leadership as they shape the workforce, staff and successfully execute the work programs to maximize impact and value. In addition, the PM will collaborate across MITRE to capitalize on high value customer or work program intersections that could be mutually beneficial. Key Functions: * Develop, maintain, and proactively manage sponsor and stakeholder relationships (new & existing) * Assist the government sponsors to better integrate and leverage other agency initiatives * Participate in the development of MITRE EHR strategic outcomes, ensuring that strategic outcomes and accomplishments are mission focused and well understood by everyone associated with the portfolio. * Develop and execute a portfolio business strategy identifying, cultivating and capitalizing on strategic EHR opportunities, to include partnering with other portfolios * Identify and follow-up on new work opportunities; coordinate with adjacent portfolios as appropriate. * Collaborate with other Portfolios, Program Divisions and Tech Centers to identify and capitalize on opportunities to increase our collective value and impact for our sponsors * Ensure that activities, deliverables, and engagements achieve sponsor outcomes, are high-quality, and appropriately exposed to other portfolios * Aggressively look for new and innovative solutions to meet the sponsors most critical needs taking full advantage of the MITRE Innovation Program, with a focus on national healthcare and improvements in service delivery. * Manage the revenue and delivery of the portfolio and develop a robust pipeline of sponsor work. Required Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree in one of the following disciplines, Electrical, Computer or Systems Engineering, health information management, or related technical disciplines and 10 years of related experience including 5 years of leadership experience. The candidate will demonstrate an ability to foster relationship development, operate effectively at high levels within MITRE customers and potential customers organizations, recognize and follow through on opportunities in new areas and/or with new MITRE customers. The candidate will demonstrate the ability to —and guides others toward—the proper balance of a) product depth with timeliness and b) technical improvements with programmatic constraints, even when hard compromises are required. The candidate is recognized by senior management and external sponsors as a thought leader. Additional qualifications include: * Expertise in thinking strategically and helping sponsors and their stakeholders frame and execute strategies successfully. * Demonstrated ability to communicate effectively to shape and deliver results of analyses to a variety of audiences at multiple levels - in writing and in public speaking. * Demonstrated ability to develop and maintain trusted sponsor and partner relationships.
