Many of the most advanced RADAR and EW systems in operation today are designed by our world class engineering team and we are looking for highly talent individuals, like yourself, with a passion for Radio Frequency Technologies.

As a EW Systems Architect, you will be expected to perform the following duties for the RMS Airborne and Maritime EW Organization:

  • Responsible for the design and development of the Electronic Warfare Product-Line Architecture.

  • Focused on maintaining the architectural integrity of current EW programs.

  • Work with the EW Chief Engineer to develop the strategic roadmap to meet the RMS Airborne EW Organization long range goals.

  • Pursue new technology concepts and support the business area in obtaining IR&D and CR&D to develop these concepts.

  • Support proposal capture and development activities. Prepare and review technical write-ups for these activities.

  • Support to Internal and External design reviews, tiger teams, etc.

  • Have significant interface and support to the RMS EW Program Directors as well as Senior customer and LM executives.

Basic Qualifications:

We are looking for many different fields of Engineers or related disciplines and/or commensurate experience. You will have an opportunity to make a difference and grow your skills and experience for your career.

  • Technical education/experience in a STEM related field.

  • Ability to obtain a secret clearance

  • Opportunity for candidates with a BS or MS degree

Desired Skills:

Experience with either Radar design or Electronic Warfare System design

Experience with system design and trade studies execution, RF chain analysis, and system performance analysis.

Experience with EW and Radar Signal Processing Techniques, Sensor System Integration and Test, and Electronic Warfare and Radar Performance Analysis Tools such as MATLAB is required.

Lab experience working with RF test equipment, including spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, oscilloscopes, and arbitrary waveform generators

Experience working in the Radio Frequency or Comms domain, working with Software Defined Radios, or experience in Digital Signal Processing

Experience with analytical/debug and SW/HW integration and test; Software development skills to include C/C++/C# and/or Java are.

Familiarity with Digital and RF logic design and test

Experience with Ada, DOORS, VxWorks, or UML modeling tools.

Experience with formal software testing, verification, and validation is desirable. Real Time Embedded SW Engineering skills.

Experience with agile-based teams and processes

Experience with either Matlab or Simulink

Model-based System Engineering experience, including use of industry tools (ex. Cameo or Rhapsody)

Experience with FPGA architecture and design, with applied knowledge of either the Xilinx, Intel or Microsemi FPGA devices and their associated application environments.

Digital board design of complex mixed signal boards to support FPGAs

Experience with Algorithm development, including passive location, Angle of Arrival and Identification

Experience with Mission data (Intel) development
