POSITION: Electronic Technician



  • Maintenance, troubleshooting, calibration and repair of all electronics, electrical, controls, instrumentation and computer-based equipment

  • Coaching and mentoring other technicians on work performance and quality

  • Enforcing the company maintenance program

  • Completing equipment repairs and calibrations

  • Completing equipment maintenance inspections as per schedule

  • Providing performance feedback to the Electronics Manager regarding team and the performance of the equipment

  • Preparing and filling out all work orders or inspection forms and submitting to Electronic Lead

  • Attending team meetings or safety meetings

  • Visually inspecting equipment in the yard/shop/location and reporting any deficiency to the Electronics Lead

  • Maintaining proper levels of electronic parts inventory for the shop and the filed kit in the service truck

  • Following HSE policy

  • Providing leadership for team

  • Enforcing active expense management

  • Training new technicians on new equipment repairs and inspections

  • Executing work on new product development projects

  • Testing repaired equipment for proper performance and ensuring that work meets manufacturers specifications Support Operations in high- profile field jobs

  • Providing feedback on potential design improvements to existing designs

  • Training Equipment Operators

  • Attending field jobs on request

  • Carrying out Work Handovers

  • Assisting the IS group in regards to any requirement that they might need related to computers, radios, phones or networks in the field or districts

  • Assisting Engineering on testing equipment and analysing technical data of the equipment

  • Supporting the Radiation Safety Officer

  • Supporting Operations in high profiles field jobs

  • Traveling to different locations

  • Working under rotational schedule such us 15x6, 10x4, 8x6 or 5x2


While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly exposed to moving mechanical parts and outside weather conditions. The employee is regularly exposed to fumes or airborne particles; toxic or caustic chemicals; risk of electrical shock and vibration. The noise level in the environment is moderate to loud.

While performing the duties of this job the employee is regularly required to stand, sit and walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel and reach with hands and arms, lift up to 50 pounds. Occasionally required to climb or balance; stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl; talk, hear and smell; lift more than 100 pounds. The vision requirements include: close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision, depth perception and ability to adjust focus.


  • Must be able to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints, parts lists, follow formal procedures and maintenance practices.

  • Working knowledge of hydraulic circuits and must be able to troubleshoot faults

  • Must have a basic level of analytical ability to find solutions to complex technical problems

  • Computer skills

VIEW JOBS 12/3/2018 12:00:00 AM 2019-03-03T00:00 Responsible for the accurate and timely sampling, testing, shipping and storage of plasma collected from donors. 1 In compliance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), responsible for collecting plasma samples and moving plasma units to freezer to ensure product quality. 2 Ensures plasma units are properly stored according to SOPs, which could include unsuitable plasma units and samples. 3 Ensures accuracy of unit labeling by verifying the pre-printed label matches the dynamic label. 4 Utilizes sterile technique to draw samples and uses heat sealer to assure the sterility and quality of plasma unit samples per SOPs. 5 May ensure samples and units are packed and shipped in accordance with SOPs and center procedures. Prepares shipping and unit disposal documentation. 6 Monitors freezer and refrigerator temperatures and immediately informs appropriate personnel if equipment is not functioning properly. Records variances. 7 Conducts daily calibration of equipment according to SOPs. 8 Ensures the accurate recording of donor data in the electronic donor information management system as outlined in the SOPs. 9 Understands the policies and procedures associated with hyper immune programs at the center if applicable. 10 Maintains clean efficient work environment, and ensures sufficient operating supplies and forms are available as needed. Follows all Health Safety & Environmental (HSE) and Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA) policies and procedures. Promotes safety in all actions. 11 Maintains confidentiality of all personnel, donor and center information. 12 May be cross-trained in other areas to meet the needs of the business. 13 Bilingual skills may be required, at the discretion of the organization, to meet the needs of the business. 14 Perform other job-related duties as assigned.
