Role Summary:

Baker Hughes, a GE company has an opening for an Electronic Technician to maintain and repair equipment for Artificial Lift Services at our facility in Claremore, OK.

Essential Responsibilities:

  • Maintain and repair electronic equipment, such as PLC controllers, VFD drives, extrusion equipment, heating systems, boilers, and conveyors. They may be responsible for installing, inspecting, and improving the efficiency in equipment as well.

  • Install electronic equipment using various power tools and machinery, including drill presses, pipe threaders', grinders, hoists, measuring devices, and testing equipment.

  • Inspect and maintain existing equipment using similar tools, such as voltmeters and PC-based diagnostic software.

  • Analyze and troubleshoot complex problems.

  • Replace existing equipment based on age and operation.

  • Maintain continuity among work teams by documenting and communicating actions, irregularities, and continuing needs.

  • Maintain safe and clean work environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed.

Qualifications/Requirements:

  • Technical diploma or Associates degree in Electronics or Mechanical field.

  • Competent in fluid power technology, AC/DC circuits and electro-mechanical devices.

  • Proficient in the use of oscilloscopes.

  • 3+ years maintenance related experience in electro-mechanical function or minimum 3 years relevant industrial experience (airline, military, oilfield, automotive, electronic).

Desired Characteristics:

  • Ability to read and interpret blueprints, wiring diagrams, assembly prints and parts lists and follow formal procedures and maintenance practices.

  • Proficient in the use of measurement and gauging equipment and processes.

  • Proficient in the use of millimeters, megohmmeters, hi-pot testers and other basic instruments.

  • Advanced level of analytical ability to find solutions to complex technical problems.

  • Advanced skills in soldering and assembling of electro-mechanical devices.

  • Advanced computer skills

Role Summary: Baker Hughes, a GE Company has an opening for a Strategic Sourcing Manager within the Oil Field Tools (OFT) commodity. Oil Field Tools represents operational spend with third parties on product, rental and service items which make up portion of overall service delivery to end users. Essential Responsibilities: * Provide category management for assigned OFT product lines. * Perform core category management activities and drive value projects * Provide strategy, supply chain solutions and develop project management structure for cost reduction and/or performance improvement. * Drives Strategic Supply Agreement (SSA) and Master Supply Agreements (MSA) content and structure including, but not limited to, legal terms and conditions, transportation INCO terms, payment terms, SOX compliance, and import/export * Monitors BHGE and supplier compliance and performance against established contracts and processes. * Proposes and implements improvements to sourcing policies. * Excellent ability to communicate with internal customers and suppliers. * Manage team activities with suppliers: Negotiate price, capacity, payment terms, supplier chargebacks, etc. with suppliers. * Develop and maintain strong relationships with leadership in S&OP, Operations, Quality, Engineering and Manufacturing organizations. * Negotiates with suppliers. * Monitors BHGE and supplier compliance and performance against established contracts and processes. * Acts as the liaison between suppliers and BHGE on strategic sourcing matters. * Maintains thorough industry and commodity knowledge. * Proposes and implements improvements to sourcing policies. * Holds financial responsibility for the commodity team. * Handles special projects as assigned Qualifications/Requirements: * Bachelor Degree in engineering or Supply Chain Management or equivalent field of study * 5+ years of experience in sourcing/procurement for direct and indirect spend * Interpersonal communication * Experience on dealing with team problems and conflict resolution * Influencer and persuasive * Client focus * Analytical understanding * Change management * Ability to handle complex negotiations Desired Characteristics: * 5+ years of experience in operations * Self-starter * Highly motivated * Ability to solve complex problems * Ability to develop functional relationships across matrix organizations * Can function as part of a team, but exhibits ability to function autonomously * Excellent communicator * Strategic thinker * Ability to act strategically * Results driven Locations: Claremore, OK or Oklahoma City, OK Will require travel 15% of the time Baker Hughes, a GE company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
