Job Description

SemiGroup is in the process of interviewing Electronics Technician candidates with some mechanical aspects of this job position.

This position will require the ability to work on electro mechanical assemblies that are a sub-assembly of a larger Semiconductor Manufacturing Piece of Equipment.

Although not required, knowledge of the following areas of discipline are desired.

Mechanical Ability to work with your hands.

Electronics Theory and Electronics Experience as well as light soldering and troubleshooting of electro-mechanical assemblies.

Understanding on Pneumatic systems and components.

Theelectronics technicianprovides skilled mechanical and electrical/electronicsupport to all areas of manufacturing and refurbishment areas.

High Vacuum Theory Understanding Desired.

Job Duties include troubleshooting and repairing assemblies used in Semiconductor Manufacturing Equipment.

To be considered for this role, you will have a minimum of a HS Diploma, four (4) years of relevant experience, ability to obtain a clearance for access to classified information, have solid understanding of manufacturing process skills, knowledge of polarity and inspection criteria and strong understanding of Bills of Material (BOM). You will be able to read and interpret moderately complex schematics and drawings, able to mechanically assemble various hardware, use wiring hand tools, and perform moderately complex electrical wiring. This position requires strong computer skills. Major Duties and Responsibilities Follow more advanced methods, techniques, and sequence of operations in performing wiring, component installation, cable harnessing on panels Perform moderately complex electrical wiring Disassemble, modify, rework, reassemble, prototype assemblies and sub-assemblies according to specifications and under simulated conditions Perform advanced fabrication Complete appropriate quality paperwork as required (e.g. Corrective Action Request, Discrepant Material Report etc.) Accurately complete process paperwork and entering data into the applicable work order management system.
