The Provider must
Be able to analyze the business partners' document formatting needs.
Be able to communicate and present information professionally and effectively.
Be proficient in a variety of document formatting tools (e.g., Microsoft Office suite, Adobe Acrobat Professional, ABBYY Fine Reader or equivalent conversion software).
Be proficient in techniques (e.g., formatting to a style standard; basic knowledge of grammar, punctuation, and spelling; cross referencing, table of contents, graphics/image sizing and placement, image types jpg, gif, png, tif).
Show strong attention to detail; have the ability to juggle multiple projects simultaneously; possess the ability to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment; demonstrate flexibility and adaptability.
Be equally comfortable working in solitude as well as in a collaborative team environment.
The ideal Provider
Formats technical content.
Effectively communicates inconsistencies and questions with subject matter experts.
Incorporates and follows up on irreconcilable comments.
Adheres to client guidelines for proprietary, export controlled, and classified content; (e.g., proper levels of security markings, handling of content).
Ensures compliance with client standards for editing, communication, and branding as outlined in the client style guide and client Brand Center.
Five or more years' experience formatting technical content, including processes, procedures, certification documentation, and test documentation.
Ability to communicate in clear, concise English with attention to detail, including grammar, punctuation, spelling, and consistency.
Advanced Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat Pro skills.
Ability to meet deadlines.
Experience formatting documents to standards and style guides.
US Person status.
Equally comfortable working in solitude as well as in a fast-paced, collaborative team environment.
Ten or more years' experience formatting technical content, including processes, procedures, certification documentation, and test documentation.
Experience formatting technical content for legal, aerospace, telecommunications, manufacturing, pharmaceutical, or similar industry.
Expert Microsoft Word and Adobe Acrobat Pro skills.
