These National Guard positions are for TWO WG-2610-12 ELECTRONIC INTEGRATED SYSTEMS MECHANIC (TITLE 32), Position Description Number D0872P01 in SPMD 4622 and is part of the MO Army Aviation Support Facility Ft Leonard Wood.

Performs operational checks, inspections, tests and troubleshooting on electronic integrated systems composed of a number of sensor subsystems.
Completes operational checks, inspections, tests and troubleshooting of Line Replaceable Units (LRU).
Isolates unusual malfunctions using technical manuals, schematics, and wiring diagrams, tools and test equipment including automatic test equipment.
Completes bench check, testing, repair, inspection, modification, programming, reprogramming, mating, adjusting, alignment, and analyzing of LRUs and shop replaceable units.
Performs other duties as assigned.

These are Excepted Service positions that require membership in a compatible military assignment in the Missouri National Guard prior to the effective date of placement.
Selectee will be required to wear the military uniform.
Acceptance of an Excepted Service position constitutes concurrence with these requirements as a condition of employment.
Applicants who are not currently a member of the National Guard must be eligible for immediate membership and employment in the National Guard in the military grade listed in this announcement.

Failure to complete management prescribed courses for full-time support personnel within the first year of employment or assignment, may be cause for reassignment or termination.
MILITARY REQUIREMENTS: Compatible military grade and assignment required prior to the effective date of placement. This is an Excepted Service position that requires membership in a compatible military assignment in the employing state's National Guard. Maximum Military Grade: SFC (E-7)
Supervisor must verify that selected individual occupies a compatible military position. Technicians will not be militarily senior to their full-time supervisor or wage leader (grade inversion).
GENERAL EXPERIENCE: Must possess experience, education, or training, in a variety of operations or situations concerned with substance or content of supply actions, requiring ability to decide course of action to take, considering the circumstances or conditions encountered; and experience using computer and automation systems.
WG-12 Specialized Experience: Must possess 18 months of specialized experience in utilizing principles, basic functions and application of theory of electronics to one or more complex integrated systems; experience which required you to solve varied arithmetic problems, including computation of unstated values on drawings, requiring trigonometry and algebra; experience which required you to understand effects of malfunctions throughout interrelated units; diagnosing and determining needed repairs for malfunctions in electronic systems where knowledge of the entire system is necessary to interpret error data and trace back through a number of units of the system to locate deficiencies; and interpreting and applying drawings, schematics and diagrams for integrated electronic systems.
