  • Analog IC circuit design, simulation and verification

  • Design analog products and blocks such as high current or high capacitive load output drivers, operational amplifier, comparator, voltage reference, oscillator, error amplifier, voltage regulator etc.

  • Evaluation, simulation and analysis of analog IC architectures and circuit topologies

  • Layout floor planning, matching and parasitic consideration/checking

  • Work with application and testing engineers to define optimal characterization and testing solution

  • Work with product definers and product engineers in full product development flow

The Must Haves:

  • Bacheor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with minimum of 3 years' related experience OR Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering with minimum 1 years' experience

  • Strong knowledge in analog, CMOS and Bipolar mixed signal IC design

  • Proficiency in Cadence

  • Knowledge in analog IC layout

  • Prior experience with power electronics, charge pumps, inductive drivers and high voltage design.

  • Prior experience in analog design of op amps, comparators, current sources, bandgaps, regulators.

  • Understanding of capacitive and inductive principles.

  • Proficiency with lab equipment (scopes, meters, generators, etc)

  • Excellent written and oral communication and presentation skills

What Will Put You Ahead:

  • Prior experience in automotive design

  • Matlab/VerilogA/System Verilog/VHDL or other behavioral simulations expertise a plus

  • Area estimation for new product cost analysis

  • Montecarlo simulation experience

VIEW JOBS 12/3/2021 12:00:00 AM 2022-03-03T00:00 As a Process Engineer at the onsemi facility in Mountain Top, Pennsylvania, you will support and develop the processes associated with photo lithography; as well as be responsible for 24x7 manufacturing of silicon wafers used in Automotive and Consumer applications throughout the world. In this team-based environment, you will work closely with Process, Equipment, Device and Design Engineers to provide robust, high quality products to our customers. This position will be responsible for sustaining manufacturing and have additional responsibilities to support Process Development and integration. Performance Objectives: Process Sustaining and Improvement of Existing Processes: * Process sustaining and improvement of existing processes related to: * Yield * Cycle time improvement and hold reduction * Testing procedures and cost-reduction * Statistical Process Control maintenance and improvement * Designing experiments on silicon for unit process development and optimization * Understanding tooling capabilities and ensuring robustness is guaranteed and characterized As a Photolithography Process Engineer you will have the opportunity to * Own Lithography processes (coat, expose, develop, measurement, inspection) in support of 24x7 manufacturing. * Understand the process engineering procedures, the tools and methods available for data generation, extraction and analysis. * Oversee manufacturing processes and effectively utilizes Process Control System tools (i.e. control charts, DOE's, etc.) to maintain and improve product and process quality in the Photolithography area * Collaborate with Equipment Engineers to improve process equipment up-time and availability * Develop and transfer new Process Flows into the Photo area * Utilize technical skills to implement equipment and process improvements that improve yields and product performance. * Understand tooling capabilities and theory of operation Within the first three to six months: * Show an understanding of the area's major yield and process issues and begin to identify projects to improve performance. * Lead at least one project that contributes to the site's key performance goals for cost reduction, yield improvement, quality and throughput. Within the first six to twelve months: * Show measurable progress improving the area's performance in support of the site's goals. * Work with a team of engineers and technicians in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. * Collaborate with international counterparts to benchmark best known process practices to improve overall product, yield and site performance. Requirements: * A Bachelor of Science degree in chemical engineering, electrical engineering, or engineering physics is required * Self-starter with a history of project completion, and a focus on organization and detail. * Strong communicator, who can effectively work with a team of manufacturing operators, equipment and process technicians as well as other engineers to work towards overall department improvement. * Semiconductor experience, either through full-time industry experience, internships, coursework/labs is preferred.
