Do you have PC board assembly or mechanical assembly experience? THE RIGHT STAFF is seeking Electronic and Mechanical Assemblers for our client in the Southern Metro area. Come and be a part of the team for one of the world s leading and innovative sensory manufacturers.

This is a contract to hire opportunity paying $15 per hour with a growing company!

Follow written layouts to assemble electronic and mechanical parts.
Complete all work orders and documentation.
Properly document rejected materials.
Cross train and rotate duties as needed for production flow.
Perform quality checks and assist team members as needed.
Conduct weekly cycle counts.

Basic electronic and mechanical experience.
Soldering skills a plus, SMT preferred.
Ability to work in a team environment.
Be able to follow directions, both written and verbal.
High school diploma or GED.
Must meet ITAR compliance requirements.

Monday to Friday (6: 30 A.M. To 3: 00 P.M.), plus overtime.
Pay $15 per hour.
Located in Savage, MN.

Det-Tronics, a United Technologies Company, is seeking a highly qualified Electronic Technician. This role will support Electrical Design Engineers in the development of new electrical circuits and products. Build and test prototypes of new circuits and product concepts. Identify, purchase, and qualify new components for use in new and existing products. Conduct tests and document results in test reports. RESPONSIBILITIES: * Support new product development by building and testing prototypes of new product designs * Order, organize and maintain an inventory of electronic and mechanical components needed for new product development * Assemble printed circuit boards using surface-mount and through-hole soldering techniques; Must have the ability to perform rework with minimal damage * Test and troubleshoot circuits, products, and systems and determine root cause of failures * Perform technical evaluations of competitive products and document findings in reports; This includes researching how competitive products operate and are connected * Design and build custom test instrumentation for product evaluations; This could include special fixtures for automated gas or flame detection testing * Evaluate, document, and communicate test results through appropriate documentation such as reports, databases, and spreadsheets; Make recommendations based on test results * Maintain a clean and safe lab environment using concepts from the UTC 5S process; Contribute to process improvement via UTC ACE methodologies and comply with EH&S objectives * Perform other duties as assigned Employment Type Full time United Technologies Corporation Minneapolis MN
