Electronics Assembler III

Position Summary

Thales is looking for an Electronics Assembler III, who's in charge of performing, within his / her area of technological specification, tasks in the manufacturing process in accordance with the manufacturing documentation and the time allocated, using the resources available (including conventional and/or digital machine tools) and inspects his / her own work.

In this position, you will perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill and/or ability required.

Key Areas of Responsibility

  • Works from assembly instructions, parts lists, wire lists, diagrams, verbal instructions, and notes to assemble, wire and install a wide variety of components.
  • Identifies and selects components to be integrated into sub-assembly and assembly units.
  • Utilizes a wide range of tools including soldering iron.
  • Interfaces with PC to record job activities.
  • Ability to read and understand Engineering drawings and understand engineering revision nomenclature.
  • Know how to read and follow assembly work instructions including drawing assemblies and MAI (manufacturing assembly instructions).

Minimum Qualifications

  • High School Diploma or GED with minimum four (4) years of work experience in an electronics repair and/or maintenance. Capable of working flexible shifts including, nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Must be flexible and willing to work any area in Repair or Production, as necessary.
  • Must be well groomed and able to maintain a professional appearance.
  • Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which the position is located.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid Driver License and a record that meets Thales' insurance standards.
  • Must pass a seven (7) year background check and drug test

Special Position Requirements

  • Schedule: Day shift, Monday through Friday. May be required to work outside the core day shift hours or on weekends.
  • Physical Environment: Primarily manufacturing/production area; occasionally warehouse.

What We Offer

For CA: The anticipated TTC range for this role is $36,282.00 - 60,470.00 USD Annual. The Company reserves the right to ultimately pay more or less than the posted range and offer additional benefits and other compensation, depending on circumstances not related to an applicant's status protected by local, state, or federal law.
