Under the direct supervision of the Department Manager or appropriate delegate, troubleshoot and repair equipment and ensure building machinery remains in top condition.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Regular and maintained attendance according to scheduled work shift is required.
Troubleshoot and repair equipment as needed, investigate on going issues and solve utilizing all resources such as manuals, vendor service groups, etc.
Perform repairs to equipment in a quality manner quickly and efficiently, ensuring work has been completed properly and equipment is in good working order.
Report any needed spare parts to Supervisor for reordering.
Complete all required paperwork logging downtime on work orders as needed.
Inform Supervisor of any problems with equipment.
Work safely and report any unsafe conditions found in the facility.
Keep Maintenance areas clean, neat and organized.
Maintain all shop tools and equipment in good working order keeping locked and put away as required.
Provide training, support and guidance for Machine Technicians, Production Utility, etc.
Other related duties, as required and directed by Supervisor.
EDUCATION and/or EXPERIENCE
Associate's degree (A. A.) or equivalent from two year college or technical school; or three to five years related experience and/or training in a highly hands-on Manufacturing Maintenance environment with Electrical and Mechanical troubleshooting and repair skills; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Fork lift license preferred
