Core Responsibilities

• Program, configure and develop sequence of operation for PLC programs on new and existing equipment.

• Debug and troubleshoot equipment to maximize line efficiencies.

• Complete electrical hardware and software control design for new and existing equipment and workstations

• Participates in special projects.

• Act as a liaison between shifts. Communicates maintenance issues to the next shifts Lead Mechanic and assures that continuity is achieved and no lapse in coverage occur.

• Keeps their teammates focused on keeping the maintenance area clean, organized, and presentable. Ensures a daily effort is made to achieve this goal.

Training, Skills, Knowledge and/or Experience:

• Demonstrated computer skills

• PLC experience is required

• Production Controls (Conveyors, Machine logic)
