Our team in Space and Defense Group is looking for an Electro-Mechanical Assembler Level I, 2nd shift (9/80 schedule ) to join them. You will report to the Operations supervisor and will have an onsite work schedule in Salt Lake City, Utah.

The 9/80 schedule: you get every other Friday off

  • Monday thru Thursday 3:30 pm
  • 1:00 am (9hrs.) and Friday 2:30 pm- 11:00 pm 8 hrs. (1week)
  • Monday thru Thursday 3:30 pm
  • 1:00 am (9 hrs.) and Friday off (1 week)

To be considered for the Assembler Level I, here's what you'll need to bring with you:

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent

  • 6 months of experience in a related industry preferred

  • Experience with mechanical controls is preferred

  • Blueprint reading is preferred

  • Ability to read and follow work instructions

  • Basic computer program skills (Windows, Word, Excel, Outlook)

As an Electro-Mechanical Assembler I, you will:

  • Perform mechanical work by assembling equipment in accordance with specified procedures in an assembly line.

  • Read and comprehend instructions and follow established procedures.

  • Use of basic hand tools, i.e. sockets, screwdriver, torque tools, wrenches etc..

  • Keep records of production quantities and time.

  • Report on issues, malfunction or defective parts.

  • Prepares work to be accomplished by studying assembly instructions, blueprint specifications, and parts lists; gathering parts, subassemblies, tools, and materials.

  • Positions parts and subassemblies by using templates or reading measurements.

  • Assembles components by examining connections for correct fit; fastening parts and subassemblies.

  • Maintains safe and clean working environment by complying with procedures, rules, and regulations.

  • Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed

Salary Range:

Pay range for this opportunity is $12.77-$17.50 per hour + 8% for 2nd shift differential.

The base salary range represents the low and high end of the Moog salary range for this position in the given work location. Actual salaries will vary depending on factors including location, experience, and performance. The range(s) listed is just one component of Moog's total compensation package for employees. Other rewards may include annual bonuses, employee stock purchase plan, an open paid time off policy, competitive 401K plan with enhanced matching program, and many region-specific benefits.

This position requires access to United States Export Controlled information.
