Position Description
Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and experienced Maintenance Technician - Electrician/Mechanic to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing, troubleshooting, and maintaining machinery and equipment to ensure optimal performance and safety.
Responsibilities:
Inspection & Testing:
Conduct routine testing and visual inspections of machinery and equipment to identify issues.
Troubleshooting:
Diagnose and resolve mechanical, electrical, hydraulic, and pneumatic problems.
Repairs & Maintenance:
Dismantle defective machines, install new or repaired parts, and perform cleaning and lubrication of machinery components.
Installation & Repair:
Install and repair electrical apparatus as per training and skill level.
Maintenance Activities:
Perform advanced electrical work, facility repairs, hydraulic, pneumatic, and pump maintenance.
Carry out basic to advanced HVAC, masonry, carpentry, and plumbing tasks.
Safety Compliance:
Adhere to plant safety procedures, including Lock-out/Tag-out protocols.
Use personal protective equipment (PPE) as required and know emergency procedures for various situations.
Reporting:
Immediately report safety issues and workplace injuries or incidents to the supervisor.
Quality Compliance:
Follow plant quality practices, including Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs).
Qualifications:
Experience:
3-5 years of proven experience in electrical/electronics, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic systems.
Preferred Experience:
Prior experience in manufacturing is highly desirable.
Mechanical Knowledge:
Mechanical experience and knowledge are preferred.
Computer Skills:
Proficiency in computer use is required.
Electrical Skills:
Advanced electrical abilities are essential.
Programming:
Advanced programming skills are preferred.
PLC Skills:
Basic to advanced knowledge of PLC is necessary.
Additional Skills:
Experience with HVAC, plumbing, masonry, and carpentry duties.
Safety:
Procedures:
Follow plant safety procedures and guidelines.
Emergency Knowledge:
Understand and implement emergency procedures for power outages, machine failures, and other incidents.
PPE:
Utilize required personal protective equipment.
Lock-out/Tag-out:
Identify and follow Lock-out/Tag-out procedures.
Reporting:
Report any safety issues or incidents immediately to the supervisor.
