Outline of Job Duties:
Take ownership of the electrical systems K-VA-T facilities and become a proactive partner of the stores in his/her assigned facilities.
Conduct periodic checks and perform preventive maintenance on electrical systems so that critical failures do not occur.
Diagnose and maintain all aspects of the high and low voltage electrical switch gears, panels, and feeds throughout the facilities.
Install new and remove old equipment and associated electrical systems as needed for remodels and upgrades.
Conceive and help develop procedures and strategies that can be adopted company-wide for improved performance, reduced down time and cost reduction.
Maintain all records necessary for government and company purposes.
Work on a 24-hour on call basis, as needed. (The goal is to develop a maintenance program that allows for a normal 40 hour work week).
Assist other in-house maintenance technicians with development of best practices.
Refurbish food equipment/systems as directed.
Minimum of 5 years' experience in electrical systems installation and maintenance.
Experience with supermarket systems (refrigeration equipment, processing equipment and energy management systems, etc.) is a plus.
Valid U.S. driver's license.
U.S. citizen or valid work permit.
Must pass physical exam and drug screen.
