Core Hours: 2:00 PM - 10:30 PM

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

High School diploma or G.E.D. equivalent required. Must be a Machine Repair or Electrician Journeyperson (as recognized by the Department of Labor) or have 5 years equivalent machine repair or electrician experience working with a recognized Machine Repair or Electrician Journeyperson.

Preferred candidates must be able to PM, repair, replace or rebuild the items as listed in the requirements column below:

REQUIREMENTS REQUIREMENT SCOPE 1 Safety Familiarization Review of safety hazards unique to the position 2 PLC knowledge Use terminals to troubleshoot equipment 3 Multimeter & monitor meter usage (includes setup) Ability to use all func to evaluate power 4 120 & 480 VAC Electrical systems Wiring and troubleshooting 5 Knowledge of power above 480VAC Understanding the conditions of safe work 6 Motors & motor starters Evaluate function, troubleshoot & replace 7 Brakes Evaluate function, adjust & replace 8 Temperature Controllers Adjustments, system evaluation 9 Level controls Evaluation, wiring, replacement, cleaning 10 Capacitor Banks Remove, measure, rebuild 11 Hydraulics (i.e. dock levelers) General service, troubleshooting, wiring issues 12 Painting Enamel and epoxies preparation and apply 13 Lighting General service, troubleshooting, wiring issues 14 Operate forklift MIOSHA license (current or previously held) 15 Operate manlift MIOSHA license (current or previously held) 16 Large fans Motor, belts, balance, etc 17 Fabricating (for repair and install) Brackets, hangers and supports 18 Pumps Evaluation, est. prime, mech seals, bearings 19 Switch troubleshooting/replacement Evaluate function, replace & panel wiring 20 Control circuits Troubleshoot all voltages 21 Electrical Print Reading Ability to read prints for functional knowledge 22 HMI Sequence of operation Understand the sequence for each application 23 Pendant/Remote Diagnosis (i.e. crane) Ability to eval. pendant and related controller 24 Crane safety & basic operations DENSO provided class or equivalent 25 Computer operation ability Basic data entry and ability to learn software

Pay Rate: up to $46/hr (with premiums)

Shift Premiums: 2nd Shift (7%) 3rd Shift (5%)
