Electrician

Job Description

This is a full time Electrician position working at Northwest Medical Center.

The Electrician will work with the Director of Plant Operations, Facility Manager, and the Maintenance Team to maintain the low-voltage systems: fire alarm system, nurse call, BAS controls, and tube system. This mechanic would also do all manner of electrical work from resetting breakers to changing ballasts to overseeing the larger main feeds and the hospital generators. Experience in a healthcare setting is a plus.

Work hours are Monday

• Friday, 7:00am

• 3:30pm. On occasion, hours may flex as projects and emergencies dictate. This position would also be part of the rotating on-call roster.

Position Qualifications/Minimum Requirements

Education: Required: High School diploma/GED or equivalent experience.

Post High School Vocational/Specialized Training. Apprenticeship trade/tech. school training in wiring, applications and maintenance.

Experience: Required: Four (4) years electrical maintenance including motor and control center, distributions and communications.

Licenses/Certifications: Required: NMC -Valid Arizona Driver's License
