What you will be doing:

  • Inspect and perform preventative maintenance on property's facilities and equipment

  • Inspect all areas of the property for safety issues and take immediate corrective action

  • Assist guests regarding property facilities in an informative and helpful way

  • Respond to guest room call for electrical issues

Your experience and skills include:

  • Relevant building maintenance experience is an asset

  • 2 - 4 years as a master electrician

  • Must be able to read, write and speak English fluently

  • Be able to occasionally lift and carry up to 50 lbs. Be able to kneel, push, pull and ascend and descend ladders, stairs and ramps.

  • Be able to read and understand electrical blueprints.

  • Strong interpersonal and problem solving abilities

  • Highly responsible & reliable

Minimum Qualifications</p><p>Education and Experience:</p><ul><li><p>A High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) equivalent.</p></li><li><p>Four years of experience in Industrial and/or Utility Electrical Systems;</p></li><li><p>OR, completion of a recognized two-year electromechanical apprenticeship.</p></li><li><p>An equivalent combination of education and job-related experience in an industrial setting may substitute for the educational requirements on a year-for-year basis.</p></li></ul><p>Licensing, Certifications and Other Requirements:</p><p>The Scottsdale Water Resources Division offers an Operator Certification Incentive Programfor those employees who obtain certifications above what is required of their positions. The department recognizes the intrinsic value of operator certifications and the added value to the city of having a workforce that possess them.</p><ul><li><p>Must possess and maintain a valid, unrestricted driver's license with no major citations within the past 39 months prior to the start date.
