Overview

What you will need:

• Minimum of 2 years of experience in industrial electrical maintenance

• 2-year electrical degree/certificate or equivalent

• Proficient with PLC

• HS Diploma or GED

• Able to pass a pre-employment background check and drug screen

• Safety toe shoes

What you will do:

• Provide control and electrical troubleshooting support for Maintenance and Production

• Provide technical support for Maintenance Engineers on projects as needed

• Assist in the implementation of a control systems improvement program

• Aid in startup and troubleshooting on new processes

• Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair electrical issues on machinery

• Follow all safety practices

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:

• Experience with 460/230 3-phase electrical services

• Understand pneumatics and hydraulics

• Knowledge of the tools, equipment, and materials common to the electrical trade

• Good social, interpersonal, communication, and mechanical skills

• Skilled in creative problem solving and decision-making skills

• Lock-Out/Tag-Out & Forklift training required during on-boarding process

• High level of mental alertness

• Must always be safety-conscious, while maintaining quality initiatives

• Moderate to heavy physical effort required including sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, climbing steps or ladders

• Must be able to push, pull and/or lift to 40 pounds.

• Must be able to stand for 10-hour shifts
