Johns Manville, a leader in the Commercial/Roofing Systems is seeking motivated individuals to perform Electrical/Mechanical Maintenance Technicians work in the Bremen, IN Facility.

Position Eligible for $600 Sign-On Bonus!

Hourly Range is $24.40-32.20/hr. Pay within this range will vary based upon relevant experience, skills, and education among other factors

This position offers:

  • Hourly Range $24.0-32.20/Hour based upon relevant experience, skills and education

  • $.50 Competitive Shift Premium

  • Overtime Differential

  • Annual Continuous Incentive plan - a percentage of total gross earnings based on plant performance

Your Day-to-Day:

  • Make all mechanical and electrical equipment repairs.

  • Involvement in all preventative maintenance tasks.

  • Must possess the ability to diagnose mechanical and electrical equipment problems.

  • Ability to do fabrication: welding, cutting, lathe and mill operations experience.

  • Industrial Electrical troubleshooting skills are required, including motor starting circuits, contactors, overloads and interlocks. Must be well-versed in using all modes of electrical multi-meters.

  • Must be able to troubleshoot ladder logic with Allen Bradley RS software.

What You Bring to the Team

  • Minimum of High School diploma and 5 years' experience in troubleshooting and repairing industrial manufacturing equipment with a mechanical background in gears, pumps, welding and an electrical background in 480V, 3 phase systems, AC/DC drives and Allen Bradley PLC.

  • Possess previous or current maintenance leadership experience and demonstrates increased responsibility.

  • SAP experience is a plus.

  • Basic computer skills are necessary for this position.

  • This position requires minimum supervision.

  • Candidates must comply with all OSHA safety codes and standards.

  • Must be able to pass a background check, and hair follicle drug screening.
