Job Description:

Manpower is now hiring for Electrical/Mechanical Assemblers in NW Houston!!!

What is the Job?

Sorting and Checking, Inspection, Tool-Related Assembly.
Assembles mechanical components according to blueprint, bill of materials chart, and shop order specifications.
Mounts, refines and fastens units using mechanical or power hand tools and gauges.
Read and follow production order for the product being produced, test electric wire and terminal connections for mechanical strength and electrical continuity in assembly. (May include some basic wiring of electrical units)
Complete proper paper work for checklist and maintain production hour by hour boards.
Pack, label and include instructions on all finished jobs
Operate and adjust tools, gauges, use hand and power tools, pallet jack, fixed gauges, jigs.

What you bring to the job?

1-3 years' Experience in role. No heavy lifting required.
Ability to meet hourly/daily production standards for completed products
Able to perform basic math functions including addition, subtraction, multiplication and division.
3 months experience in manufacturing setting or equivalent
Standing, stooping, squatting, can be expected along with other means transfer of parts.
Repetitive wrist, elbow, arm movement and work with small parts and connectors.
Must be able to frequently lift, pull, and push objects that are up to 35 pounds without assistance.
Pass background and drug screen
Have High School Diploma or GED
