Electrical Tester

Summary

The Electrical Tester is a hands-on position, performing required product
testing for cables. The Electrical Tester works closely with the Quality and
Production teams to identify and resolve problems.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Perform electrical testing on cables for VSWR, Insertion Loss, Phase, Time
Delay and Capacitance
Perform standard Network Analyzer Calibration, when required
Perform In-Process and Final Testing
Trouble-shoot production hardware electrical problems
Create Test Data sheets
Manage and report Test Data
Help assemble harnesses, when required, to support production

Job Requirements

High School Diploma or GED
Experience in wire/cable harness manufacturing
Experience in electro-mechanical testing and manufacturing, preferred.
Familiarity with network analyzers, strongly preferred.
Be able to lift 15 pounds
Be on your feet for much of your standard operating shift
Strong computer skills
Strong attention to details
Excellent math skills
