Job Overview: We are seeking an experienced Electrical Test Technician to perform testing and quality assurance on our electrical components and systems. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of electrical principles and testing methodologies, along with hands-on experience with electrical testing equipment. The Electrical Test Technician will work closely with our engineering and production teams to ensure that our products meet quality standards and performance specifications.

Responsibilities:

• Conduct electrical testing on components, assemblies, and systems using a variety of testing equipment and tools.

• Perform functional testing, performance testing, and reliability testing to validate product performance and identify any defects or malfunctions.

• Interpret test results and analyze data to identify trends, patterns, and areas for improvement.

• Troubleshoot electrical issues and perform diagnostic testing to identify root causes of problems.

• Collaborate with engineering and production teams to implement corrective actions and design changes based on test findings.

• Maintain and calibrate testing equipment to ensure accuracy and reliability of test results.

• Document test procedures, results, and findings in reports and databases for record-keeping and analysis.

• Adhere to safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment for yourself and others.

Requirements:

• Associate degree or technical certification in Electrical Engineering Technology, Electronics Technology, or a related field.

• Minimum of 2-3 years of experience as an Electrical Test Technician or similar role in a manufacturing or engineering environment.

• Strong knowledge of electrical principles, circuits, and systems.

• Proficiency in using electrical testing equipment, such as multimeters, oscilloscopes, signal generators, and power supplies.

• Experience with automated test equipment (ATE) and software-controlled testing systems is a plus.

• Attention to detail and strong problem-solving skills.

• Excellent communication and teamwork skills.

• Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment.

• Familiarity with quality assurance processes and standards is preferred.
