BASIC DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Establish and maintain an Academy related to electrical technology.
Establish a classroom environment favorable to learning and personal growth.
Motivate students to develop skills, attitudes, and knowledge needed to provide an education foundation in electrical technology.
Establish and maintain a positive and on-going working relationship with core academic teachers in order to integrate curriculum and instruction.
Provide students with information concerning career options in electrical technology.
Teach all content standards.
Promote the Electrical Technology Academy to students, parents, teachers, and community.
Recruit students into the Electrical Technology Academy and encourage students to attain concentrator and complete status.
Select, organize, distribute, and maintain materials and equipment for the school's Electrical Technology Academy.
Sponsor student organizations as related to the functions of the Academy.
Complete, maintain, and submit Career Tech records and documentation on time.
Attend Career Tech meetings, professional development activities, and functions.
Establish a positive relationship with students, parents, co-workers, community members, volunteers, and other visitors.
