IS SEEKING AN ELECTRICAL TECHNICIAN FOR A ONE-YEAR CONTRACT WITH OUR CLIENT LOCATED IN SANTA BARBARA, CA.

Description: Provides engineering hardware fabrication support, troubleshooting, testing and basic Laboratory operations responsibility. These responsibilities will include fabrication of electronic/electrical chassis' and mechanical rack fabrication using development engineering drawings.

Candidate must be capable of working independently, discussing technical issues with customers and working with vendors. Work schedule Monday-Thursday 3:00 pm - 01:30 am

Skill/Experience/Education Mandatory: Integrated Circuit Layout Technician.

SBF is seeking an experienced integrated circuit technician to help advance the state of the art in infrared and visible imager readout integrated circuits (ROICs). Significant experience with physical layout of mixed signal VLSI CMOS transistor level designs is required. The selected candidate will perform silicon layout of analog and digital submicron transistor level designs in support of advanced infrared cameras and imagers. Designs include ultralow noise analog circuit blocks, low power analog to digital conversion, high speed multi GHz data transmission and serializers. MUST HAVE CMOS integrated circuit layout experience

Management and preparation of documentation compliant with both the California Environmental Quality Act (CEQA) and the National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA) for a variety of project scopes and clients. Further, expertise with compliance with the National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), Endangered Species Act (ESA), Marine Mammal Protection Act (MMPA), and / or Magnuson-Stevens Fishery Conservation and Management Act (MSFCMA) a plus. Specific tasks would include preparing and adhering to scopes, schedules, budgets, completing or overseeing all components of environmental documentation, and managing and mentoring junior staff. Will work collaboratively with Environmental Planning and Permitting leadership and technical staff throughout California and nationwide.
