Electrical Superintendent

Description:

• Oversee the installation, maintenance, and repair of electrical systems in buildings and construction projects

• Ensure compliance with national and local electrical codes

• Coordinate with project managers, architects, and other construction professionals to develop and implement electrical plans and timelines

• Schedule, coordinate, and supervise all onsite electrical subcontractors for cement projects

• Plan, assign, and coordinate project work with various electrical subcontractors to ensure continuous project workflow

• Work closely with electricians and other team members to achieve project goals

• Facilitate communication and collaboration among team members to ensure efficient execution of electrical projects

• Ensure that electrical work meets quality standards and safety regulations

• Monitor progress, address any issues, and make necessary adjustments to keep projects on track

• Guarantee compliance with safety and environment policies for electrical maintenance personnel

• Establish a safety culture and tackle specific actions to ensure health and safety prevention during maintenance activities

• Contribute to plant housekeeping and cleanliness

• Plan and direct the work of the electrical supervisor, automation, and systems engineers

• Determine and schedule the necessary actions of corrective and preventive electrical, instrumentation, and automation maintenance in coordination with the - Mechanical and Preventive Maintenance Superintendent and Supervisors to ensure proper functioning of electrical, instrumentation, and automation equipment and installations

• Ensure the electrical maintenance team's full-time readiness to tackle emergencies or urgent breakdowns efficiently

• Plan annual electrical maintenance plans according to preventive maintenance plans or scheduled corrective maintenance actions

• Ensure outage plans are implemented by the electrical supervisor, automation and systems engineers and their reports or contractors assigned the tasks

• Manage execution of maintenance activities by third parties

• Cooperate with Production and Process departments in the execution of complex maintenance actions

• Support the Maintenance Superintendent with maintaining the budget, ensuring planning and follow-up of costs; implement effective and systematic solutions to - achieve budget and to meet or exceed targets

• Communicate and implement regulations, company goals, local permits, policies and procedures; optimize the internal processes and structure

Skills:

power distribution, plc troubleshooting, autocad electrical, NEC, VFD, plc programming, siemens plc, allen bradley plc, Control systems, instrumentation, PE license

Additional Skills & Qualifications:

• Professional Engineering license

• Experience in cement, asphalt, ready mix, and aggregate plant operations
